Short-Term Disability
- Waiting periods can range from one to 30 days.
- Coverage is 60 to 70 percent of your weekly earnings.
- Benefits are typically paid for 13 weeks but may continue up to two years.
Long-Term Disability
- The waiting period generally coordinates with short-term disability.
- Coverage is 60 to 70 percent of your weekly earnings.
- Benefits are paid up to age 65 or according to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) guidelines for those disabled after age 60.
